KBMax Team visited the Chicago Salesforce Office

Find me on:
We had a great time meeting with the Salesforce CPQ sales team in Chicago. Many thanks to their management team and Seamus Eagan who helped us coordinating the meetings and logistics, and  setting up the agenda with us to ensure the SE and AE teams are getting the "most out of it" such as  understanding the value and the feature set KBMax provides.

Our Salesforce partnership have come a long way. We first demonstrated our Salesforce integration during last year's Dreamforce '16 and received great reviews since then. Over the last six months, we worked very hard to formalize our partnership and integration with Salesforce CPQ. We achieved ISV status in mid March and have our Salesforce CPQ integration package listed on the AppExchange since July this year.

Thus, the timing to meet with the Salesforce CPQ team was ideal. As we are already engaged in some accounts supplementing Salesforce CPQ with complex configuration capabilities, 3D visualization and CAD automation, we identified a number of short and long term oppotunities, and markets we can capitalize upon.

Here is just a quick summary how KBMax supplements and integrates with Salesforce CPQ.

MAX Configure Engine:
KBMax does the C in Salesforce CPQ, greatly increasing automated product options. The KBMax Snap rule engine is Turing-complete, meaning it can build any advanced algorithm. Visual drag & drop blocks make it easy to use and is fast to implement for all skill levels. The future of enterprise programming is here!

MAX 3D User Interface:
Access KBMax as a canvas app inside Salesforce CPQ and use 3D visuals to guide the configuration process. The mobile responsive design supports usage on all devices. Dynamic updates to sizes, colors, components and features give a real time product tour. Share interactive links and images with customers to increase conversion rates. 3D visualization, today is a tremendous competitive advantage to help products stand out and sell more faster.

MAX 3D CAD Automation:
Product companies sell engineer to order (ETO) products, which take long cycle times to design. KBMax generates accurate CAD models or drawings of the configuration to take the order and manufacture. It works as a virtual engineer that dynamically generates CAD models and drawings in minutes. We support outputs in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and PTC CREO.

Kevin is a great fit as he enjoys solving complex business challenges the way some people enjoy crossword puzzles. Only a few things are more complicated than helping companies transform their business and he is enjoying the challenge.

For a sales executive he is fairly adept on both the technical and business side of things. He can grasp the business, technical and people sides of a problem and solve it. It is not just about selling software, rather selling a solution. It may take a while, but he is also surprisingly good at finding solutions to problems that others were unable to solve.

Thanks again to the entire Salesforce CPQ team for meeting with us and we are looking forward to a great 2nd half of this year.
