Find me on:
As a long-term Solidworks partner we are very excited and look forward to the upcoming SOLIDWORKS World. Over the course of three full days we will be at the Partner Pavillion and show our latest 3D CPQ software along with our built-in CAD automation solution.
Additionally, AJ Jones and Kevin Bennett will provide hands-on tranining in a 90 min. technical session on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 1:30pm. I encourage everyone who is looking for a CAD automation solution to participate and get the insights from the two most talented, brightest (so called propeller heads) and most experienced guys in this space.
So, what is the value of CAD Automation:
Does it take days or weeks to draw CAD models & drawings for configured or engineer to order products? These costly bottlenecks are slowing down your sales, engineering, & manufacturing processes. Our advanced CAD automation removes these repetitive manual tasks and instantly generates precise models & drawings. You increase standard product offerings and free up your engineers to focus on higher value activity like one offs, R&D, and innovation.
KBMax helps your Solidworks users develop template models and design rules for a product line. Parameters of these models are linked to controllable fields in our user interface, where users can configure valid product configurations. KBMax automates Solidworks operations for those models & drawings including:
  • Change dimensions
  • Suppress/unsuppress features & components
  • Dynamically add and mate components in assembly
  • Nested configurators for complex model trees
  • Change/add custom properties
  • Replace components
  • Add/hide/show drawing views, notes, dimensions and sheets
  • Auto-size views and auto-position dimensions
  • Save or output as a wide array of file types (STEP, IGES, JPG, PDF, 3D PDF, EDrawings, etc.)
